In early 2022, I founded Her Own Summer to share my cowgirl cures, or kitchen apothecary recipes.  ​

I am Summer Lopez. As an author, I publish under the pen name S.L. Stone. As a natural medicine practitioner and consulting astrologer, in medicine space I am known as Scout. My kid calls me Mom.

 

I believe self-care is wellness on your own time and dime.​ It has never been more possible, or necessary, to regulate our individual nervous systems. Her Own Summer supports everyone stepping into ownership of their wellbeing.

 

Over the last three years, Her Own Summer has expanded in capacity and deepened in committment.  In addition to our bestselling Cooking & New Age non-fiction, we currently offer natural medicine services and astrological consultation.​ We also collaborate with creators, makers, and healers on seasonal capsule offerings.​

Natural medicine is a devotional and reciprocal partnership with plants for instruction, allyship, healing, and ceremony. I partner commercially, ceremonially, and clinically to work with clients in microdosing and psychedelic journey contexts.  I am also available to create and facilitate custom concierge containers,  on a case by case basis.

Astrology is the ancient tradition of judging meaning made from the stars in your nativity, as well as identifying and interpreting elemental energetics on offer from transiting celestial bodies. I work with clients, using inceptional and interrogational techniques, for electional, remediation, and horary inquiries.​​

Her Own Summer is based in Colorado's Front Range, primarily servicing the Boulder and Denver areas.​ 

 

My practice is both in-person and virtual. I frequently collaborate with other providers of allopathic and alternative healing.

I meet with clients via Zoom and travel internationally for retreat events.  I am also open to media and collaboration inquiries from reputable parties.
